Vistas Fall 2025 Business Data Analyst Internship

Position: Business Data Analyst Intern

Responsibilities:
 
  • Responsible for supporting advanced analytics and business intelligence with the goal of improving quality, outcomes, and decision making
  • Work on data scoping, exploration, identification, extraction, cleaning, applying logic,verifying data elements and constructing database for individual projects
  • Work on Web based applications utilizing Java, Spring, AngularJS and Java Script
  • Participate in project preparation, exploring the scope, depth, and challenges of new projects, and formulating strategies and action plans
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

What we look for:
 
  • Experience with R or Python scripting for analysis and basic OOPs concepts
  • Familiarity with usage of PowerBi and Tableau for data visualisation”
  • Knowledge of SQL querying and database management
  • Exposure to Google Analytics
  • Understanding of modern web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST APIs
  • Proficient in G-suite MS office
  • Bonus: Data cleaning / aggregating and statistical analysis

 

Skills expected:
 
  • Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working cross-functionally
  • Ability to work independently in face-paced and deadline-driven projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
  • Willingness to learn and work on new technologies

 

Education:
 
  • Currently enrolled pursuing your master’s degree in a technical field (Math, Analytics, Statistics, Programming)
  • Able to work upto 40 hours per week with good academic standing
